Job summary

Meds.com is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant for our Elmhurst and Chicago operations to drive cost analytics, COGS reporting, and inventory valuation. You will own standard cost models, perform monthly reconciliations, and partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Pharmacy teams to improve unit economics.

In this role you will lead cycle counts, support month-end close, and develop margin analyses by product line and fulfillment route.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 5+ years cost accounting, inventory management, or related experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge related to inventory valuation, COGS, and cost allocation.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update standard cost models (BOMs) for all products.
• Perform monthly COGS reconciliations and analyze variances.
• Oversee month-end inventory accounting, reconciliations, and cycle counts.
• Prepare margin analyses by product line and fulfillment route for leadership.
