Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Sr Cost Accountant who can travel between New Orleans/Pontchartrain, LA and Richmond, VA. The role requires strong cost accounting expertise in a manufacturing environment and frequent collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, and executive teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in cost accounting, knowledge of SOX/GAAP, and familiarity with SAP (or JDE/Oracle). A Bachelor's degree is required, with CPA/CMA/MBA considered a major plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting for a large manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of SOX and GAAP accounting controls.
• Deep knowledge of inventory, fixed assets, conversion costs and manufacturing overhead.
• Preferably experience with SAP, but JDE or Oracle could also work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at a high level with manufacturing and supply chain leaders as well as corporate leadership.
• Ability to travel and be a consistent presence onsite at the manufacturing facilities.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA would be a huge plus (Bachelor's Degree is required).

Atrium is currently partnering with one of our favorite clients on a very specific search! We are currently recruiting for a Sr Cost Accountant with the ability to travel. This role can sit in either New Orleans/Pontchartrain, LA or Richmond, VA and will require frequent travel to the opposite location.
