Job summary

Atrium is partnering with a manufacturing client to recruit a Sr Cost Accountant who can travel frequently and sit in New Orleans/Pontchartrain, LA or Richmond, VA. The role requires deep cost accounting for inventory, fixed assets, conversion costs, and overhead, with strong SOX and GAAP knowledge.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cost accounting for manufacturing, experience with SAP (JDE or Oracle also acceptable), and preferably a CPA, CMA, or MBA (Bachelor’s degree required).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting for a large manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of SOX and GAAP accounting controls.
• Deep knowledge of inventory, fixed assets, conversion costs and manufacturing overhead.
• Preferably experience with SAP, but JDE or Oracle could also work.

Atrium is currently partnering with one of our favorite clients on a very specific search! We are currently recruiting for a Sr Cost Accountant with the ability to travel. This role can sit in either New Orleans/Pontchartrain, LA or Richmond, VA and will require frequent travel to the opposite location.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting for a large manufacturing company
• Knowledge of SOX and GAAP accounting controls
• Deep knowledge of inventory, fixed assets, conversion costs and manufacturing overhead
• Preferably experience with SAP, but JDE or Oracle could also work
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact as a high level with manufacturing and supply chain leaders as well as corporate leadership
• Ability to travel and be a consistent presence onsite at the manufacturing facilities
• CPA, CMA, or MBA would be a huge plus (Bachelor's Degree is required)
