Job summary

Confidential is a growing healthcare product manufacturer seeking a Sr. Cost Accountant to support multiple sites.

This role offers high visibility, expansion opportunities across the U.S., and the chance to partner with Plant Managers to drive business, reduce costs and improve efficiencies. You will run monthly costs, manufacturing reports, and schedules; analyze labor metrics and scrap variations; post accruals; and collaborate across operations to provide spend analysis and production

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of standard cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly costs, manufacturing reports and other schedules.
• Interpret and evaluate data for labor metrics and efficiencies.
• Interface with operations personnel and cross-functional areas to develop spend analysis.
• Gather data and report daily production metrics for each unit.
• Analyze scrap and usage variations.
• Create, analyze and post month-end accruals for labor.
• Manage month-end depreciation schedule and postings.
