Job summary

Corrpro Companies is seeking a Senior Corrosion Engineer for a remote role based in the United States. The position focuses on planning and performing complex CP system design for DoD projects, reviewing data, preparing designs, and coordinating installation across sites.

Strong PM, English communication, and 7 years CP experience are required; CP3 is mandatory with CP4 preferred; US citizenship and travel up to 40% are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or related field preferred.
• AMPP CP Technologist (CP3) required, CP Specialist (CP4) certification preferred.
• PE preferred.
• 7 years related Cathodic Protection survey and design experience.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communications skills.
• Strong team and internal customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel in the US and internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform complex engineering design duties for cathodic protection system projects for DoD.
• Review preliminary data, discuss objectives and suggest methods and procedures.
• Prepare engineering designs, specifications, and reports.
• Plan and schedule activities for efficient utilization of resources.
• Establish crews and assign work based on task complexity and capacities.
• Provide technical supervision and assistance to other divisions.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate engineering aspects of installation process.
• Supervise tests to determine condition of soils, water, structures.
• Direct preparation of field drawings and design modifications.
• Supervise post-installation survey.
• Coordinate interference testing and bonding with client and others.
• Ensure proper methods and procedures; modify as needed.
• Perform economic evaluations and assist in cost estimation and proposals.
