Corrpro Companies is seeking an AMPP CP4 Certified Corrosion Engineer. This role is remote, reporting to our San Diego, California office.

Corrpro specializes in corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring to protect infrastructure. We provide consulting and engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, utilities, universities, and transportation agencies. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.

• Design and oversee complex cathodic protection system projects, including Department of Defense projects
• Review data, discuss objectives, and recommend engineering methods
• Develop designs, specifications, and reports
• Plan and allocate resources efficiently
• Assign work based on task complexity and team capacity
• Provide technical supervision and assistance within the company
• Mentor junior engineers
• Coordinate installation engineering aspects
• Perform soil, water, and structure condition assessments
• Prepare field drawings and adapt designs as needed
• Conduct post-installation surveys
• Coordinate interference testing and bonding with clients
• Ensure proper application of methods, making modifications as necessary
• Evaluate economic options for cathodic protection and corrosion control
• Assist with cost estimation and proposal development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• AMPP / NACE CP4 Certification (required)
• PE license (preferred)
• 10+ years of related cathodic protection survey and design experience
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Teamwork and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• US citizenship, ability to obtain a US passport, and willingness to pass an FBI background check
