Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in a criminal justice field, preferably supervisory.
• Pre-service officer training completed; state license as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide general supervision of Correctional Officers and inmates on the shift.
• Direct staff to follow security, health, safety, sanitation and welfare procedures.
• Inspect housing and general areas to ensure standards and procedures are met.
• Routinely inspect posts to ensure security is properly maintained.
