Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal justice experience; supervisory exposure preferred.
• Completion of basic pre-service officer training; state license if applicable.
• Valid driver's license maintained.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide general supervision of Officers and inmates on the shift and evaluate per policy.
• Inspect housing and general areas to ensure security, health, and welfare standards.
• Supervise internal and external security; routinely inspect posts for alertness and coverage.

Education

High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent

Two years experience in a criminal justice field

Pre-service officer training / non-commissioned license

Valid driver's license

Minimum age 18
