Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a criminal justice field, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Completion of basic pre-service officer training; non-commissioned security officer license where applicable.
• Valid driver's license; minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the administrative and operational security activities in the facility.
• Directly supervise Correctional Officers on the shift and ensure security procedures.
• Protect inmates/residents and uphold their legal rights.
• Inspect housing and general use areas to maintain standards and safety.
• Routinely inspect posts to confirm alertness and proper security.
