Job summary

Talnt is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 engagements. You will work with clients to understand operations, identify planning opportunities, and deliver practical guidance on complex issues.

You will collaborate with a national tax office and access advanced technology, training, and resources to support your development and leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or JD with an active license is required.
• 7+ years of progressive tax compliance/consulting experience is expected.
• Strong ASC 740 and corporate income tax knowledge is required.
• Understanding of US GAAP and state/local tax matters is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate tax engagements from planning through completion, managing quality, budgets, deadlines, and client expectations.
• Review corporate tax returns and identify opportunities for accuracy and tax savings.
• Lead ASC 740 income tax provision engagements review.
• Advise clients on corporate income tax matters based on their operations and objectives.
• Research complex tax issues and respond to authorities' inquiries.
• Mentor and develop senior associates, associates, and interns.
• Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Collaborate with specialists on state/local, international taxation and transfer pricing.
• Maintain high professional standards and client confidentiality while developing skills.
