• The role requires substantial corporate transactional experience with a strong emphasis on private equity investments and divestitures, portfolio company transactions, and general corporate fiduciary duties and governance.
• Responsibilities include independently drafting primary deal documents, leading complex diligence, managing deals (including junior associates and internal specialist teams), client interaction, and work product.
• The Corporate Practice group regularly works with a diverse range of clients, from large to small, across various industries nationwide.
• Greenberg Traurig's Private Equity Practice advises regional, national, and global private equity firms on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing, across sectors such as consumer products, aerospace, manufacturing, food and beverage, health care, financial services, distribution, and technology.
• The practice also extends its advisory services to portfolio companies, management teams, co-investors, and other participants involved in private equity transactions.
• The firm's Private Equity Practice supports all aspects of private equity firm legal needs, encompassing purchase and sale transactions, portfolio company support, finance matters, fund formation and ongoing operation, tax analysis, and business reorganization and restructuring transactions.
