Job summary

Fortra is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support the General Counsel in general corporate matters, financing, and insurance. This role partners with business stakeholders to guide contractual terms and streamline legal processes.

The position focuses on contract workflows, entity management, and a variety of agreements including software licenses, NDAs, and professional services. Compensation is competitive and reflects experience.

Qualifications

• Entity management and insurance experience.
• 5+ years of paralegal, contract administration, or related legal experience.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with strong judgment and the ability to balance commercial objectives and legal risk.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining and improving internal processes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Solid knowledge and skills working in an office environment.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
• Legal Operations experience preferred
• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience involving software, SaaS, and professional services agreements preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with General Counsel and business leaders to assess terms, obligations, and risk.
• Independently manage contract workflows and priorities per procedures and deadlines.
• Support entity management, insurance, financing.
• Assist with Partner letters, NDAs, and customer forms.
• Serve as a resource on contract processes for internal stakeholders.
• Support Legal Operations.
• Draft, review, negotiate a range of contracts (software licenses, SOWs, PSAs, NDAs, information security).
• Maintain an updated library of contract templates and databases of executed contracts.
• Provide IP and real estate support.
• Support litigation and M&A activities.
