Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a seasoned Financial Systems Analyst to design, develop, and implement enterprise back-office financial systems supporting HR, finance, payroll, accounting and reporting. Under limited supervision, you will lead project teams, manage project plans and budgets, and mentor junior staff while shaping governance policies and executive communications.

This hybrid role is based in Plano, TX and requires 5+ years in financial systems analysis, with expertise in ERP/Oracle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, information technology or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in financial systems analysis, planning, accounting, audit or operational analysis.
• Experience with ERP/Oracle Cloud Financials and ERP Financials implementations is preferred.

Job description

Under limited supervision, designs, develops and implements enterprise back office financial system, including but not limited to systems supporting: human resources, finance, payroll, accounting and reporting

Essential Functions

• Responsibilities include leading project teams, developing project plans, maintaining project budgets, leading technical research and documentation of business requirements in the review of existing and proposed applications for enterprise-wide systems and databases. Communication of governance and support policies to all levels of management and the development and presentation of executive level communications.
• Monitors the effectiveness of system controls, identifies process improvement and communicates recommendations.
• Mentor less senior staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalency in business, accounting, information technology or related field.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years experience in financial systems analysis, planning, accounting, audit or operational analysis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical skills.

Experience with business software, multidimensional databases, web technologies, scripting languages in a business environment.

Quantitative business problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Strong organizational/time management and planning/project skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.

• Understanding of traditional and modern project management and execution methods to promote a positive change management mentality within an organization

• Translates IT strategy, complex topics and technical language into compelling communications that are easily understood by business audiences
• Demonstrates ability to design, test and refine efficient generative AI prompts as effective work tools

Pay Transparency:

This is a hybrid position located in the cities of Memphis, TN., Plano, TX., and Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.

Pay:

The pay range for Memphis, TN. is: Min. $6,511.62, Max. $10,744.16. The pay range for Plano, TX., and Pittsburgh, PA. is: Min. $6,854.33, Max. $11,309.65
