Job summary

Arena Family of Companies is hiring a Senior Corporate Counsel to join a confidential technology company’s in‑house legal team in Orange County, CA.

Base salary Approximately $240,000 per year plus bonus. You will independently manage contracts, advise cross‑functional stakeholders, and support privacy, data security and regulatory matters while working onsite five days per week in Orange County, CA.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. State Bar.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements.
• Experience advising cross-functional business stakeholders.
• Experience in a technology or regulated environment.
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week in Orange County, CA.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements (software, SaaS, technology, vendors, data, licensing, services, confidentiality)
• Manage contract matters from intake through execution
• Advise business leaders on practical legal and commercial issues
• Support technology, privacy, data security, regulatory compliance, and operational risk matters
• Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary
• Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, clause libraries, and legal processes
• Optimize contract-management systems and legal technology tools
