Job summary

Five9 is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel – Legal Transactions in a hybrid/remote-friendly role centered in the cloud-based CX software space. The attorney will draft and negotiate MSAs, DPAs, and SLAs, ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance while enabling high‑velocity SaaS transactions.

Ideal candidates have 7–12 years of legal experience, including 4+ in-house in tech sales, with expertise in SaaS, cloud, AI, and data privacy, and a track record across global transactions.

Qualifications

• JD and bar membership required.
• 7–12 years total legal experience with 4+ in in-house tech sales.
• Experience negotiating complex SaaS/cloud transactions and DPAs.
• Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA, SOC 2, HIPAA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate master services agreements (MSAs) balancing liability with market norms.
• Navigate AI ethics, data governance, and privacy considerations in transactions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance to align legal risk with go‑to‑market strategy.
