Ripple Labs Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our growing legal team in New York. You will manage vendor contracts and support our payments, custody, and stablecoin product lines.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. from a top-tier school, at least five years of corporate experience (fintech preferred), and can collaborate with product, engineering, security, tax, and finance teams. This full-time role offers a competitive base salary in the NY range of $196,000–$245,000 USD, plus bonuses

Qualifications

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.
• Min. 5 years of practice, ideally as a corporate attorney at a major law firm and at a fintech startup.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Ripple's product, marketing, engineering, security, tax, and finance teams to ensure agreements align with internal corporate policies and processes.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills, judgment, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and act decisively.
• Competence in presenting complex issues clearly and concisely, providing succinct, practical, and effective legal advice.

Responsibilities

• One of your primary roles will be to manage our increasing number of vendor agreements and to think of ways to streamline the process.
• Assist the Company's sales and business development teams with various commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating term sheets and definitive documentation.
• Manage and budget for external advisors engaged on such projects.
