Job summary

1915 South | Ashley is seeking a Corporate Controller to own the integrity of financial records across all entities. The role drives end-to-end close, consolidation, and control, partnering with FP&A and reporting to the Chief Finance & Strategy Officer.

Build a strong control environment and scalable processes for a growing retail operation. The position demands 8+ years of accounting leadership, CPA, and experience with ERP systems like STORIS and QuickBooks Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA license preferred.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience including multi-entity close.
• Experience leading and developing an accounting team; audit exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all entities.
• Maintain consolidation, COA, and control environment with documented processes.
• Oversee reconciliations, bank, and intercompany accounts with SOX-like controls.
• Lead technical accounting, including ASC 842 lease and depreciation activities.
• Produce monthly financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage team development and cross-coverage for critical tasks.
