Carolina PRG is partnering with a growing, multi-million-dollar private equity-backed company seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its accounting team. This position will support the monthly close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ongoing process improvements within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Three or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and the month-end close process.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close schedules.
• Assist with consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
• Analyze account activity and investigate financial variances.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Help improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with business leaders and other departments on accounting-related matters.
