This role independently manages daily cash positioning and bank activity monitoring, oversees cash movements, and ensures proper recording of cash and treasury accounting in line with GAAP and internal controls. Acting as a subject-matter expert in cash management processes and banking platforms, the role supports liquidity and cash flow analysis while leading improvement and automation efforts for better controls and efficiency. The role also contributes to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and provides necessary audit support for financial statement preparation.**Job Responsibilities**:Cash Management & Treasury Operations* Own daily cash activity monitoring across multiple bank accounts and legal entities; validate completeness and accuracy of activity and balances.* Lead daily bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, including research, root-cause resolution, and escalation of unusual or suspicious activity per policy.* Prepare and present daily cash position and liquidity reporting; identify drivers of variances, emerging cash needs, and recommended actions.* Execute approved cash movements (funding, transfers, wires/ACH, investments) and ensure transactions are properly authorized, documented, and recorded.* Support short term and long term cash flow forecasting, including trend and variance analysis, and communicate impacts to Treasury and Accounting leadership.* Serve as a primary point of contact for banking partners and internal stakeholders; provide guidance on complex cash/banking issues and drive timely resolution.Credit and Loan Operations* Review and reconcile all credit agreement transactions (term loans, revolving credit, lines of credit) to ensure timely payments, renewals, and fees are properly handled per company obligations.* Calculate daily and/or monthly interest payments for loans, lines of credit, or other credit facility as necessary.Accounting Operations, Financial Reporting & Compliance* Prepare and review complex journal entries related to cash, banking activity, principal debt payments, interest, and treasury transactions; ensure proper support and approvals.* Own month-end reconciliations for cash, debt, and related balance sheet accounts; investigate reconciling items, drive timely clearing, and ensure accounts tie to bank statements and sub-ledgers.* Lead month-end close activities related to cash and treasury, including coordination across teams to meet close deadlines.* Serve as a key contact for internal and external audit requests related to cash management; prepare schedules, support, and walkthroughs, and assist with remediation of findings.* Ensure compliance with internal controls, banking policies, and regulatory requirements; identify control gaps and recommend enhancements.* Partner with Treasury on bank fee analysis, account maintenance, bank portal administration, and documentation of key banking/treasury processes and controls.* Maintain and improve documentation for treasury processes, approvals, and key controls; support standardization across legal entities and accounts.Process Improvement and Systems Management* Identify and lead opportunities to streamline and automate cash management processes, reconciliations, and banking workflows to improve controls and efficiency.* Serve as an ERP/treasury systems steward for assigned processes, including requirements gathering, testing, and implementation support for enhancements.* Participate in and influence cross-functional projects related to liquidity, automation, controls, and reporting; provide technical accounting and process guidance.* Provide informal leadership through knowledge sharing and mentoring; perform additional senior-level tasks and analysis as assigned to support Treasury and Corporate Accounting.* This categorization maintains the integrity of the responsibilities while providing clear, organized sections for better understanding and management of duties.**Experience:*** Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, treasury, or cash management (large, complex organization preferred).* Demonstrated experience operating in a large company environment (revenues > $1B) with multi-entity banking and reporting complexity preferred.* Experience with ERP systems and financial integrations; Oracle, M3, or Adage experience preferred. Prior involvement in system implementations or process redesign a plus.)**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Strong understanding of cash management concepts, banking operations, GAAP, and internal controls; ability to apply judgment to resolve complex items with limited supervision.* Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, power query/data model, complex formulas) and strong proficiency with financial reporting tools.* Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with high attention to detail; able to translate data into actionable insights for leadership.* Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; independently drive work to completion and escalate risks appropriately.* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions and with external banking partners; ability to provide coaching and guidance to others when needed.**Supervisor Responsibilities****:*** None.
