Madison Street Search is partnering with a global manufacturing leader to add a Senior Corporate Accountant in Des Moines, IA. You will own the month-end close process, manage journal entries, and support GL, intercompany accounting and fixed assets in a lean, hands-on environment.

The role offers a strong work-life balance, exposure to a global business, and the potential to advance within the Controllership team as the ERP transformation progresses.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressive corporate GL/month-end close experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong journal entry, reconciliation, variance analysis and financial statement skills.
• Experience with fixed assets, inventory and intercompany accounting.
• Understanding of standard costing is important.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI / Power Query a plus.
• Hands-on accounting environment.

SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT | DES MOINES, IA

Madison Street Search is partnering with a well-established, global manufacturing company to add a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its Controllership team. You'll be supporting a major manufacturing, distribution and warehouse operation within a $600M+ North American business. The accounting team is lean, experienced and highly collaborative so this is a great fit for someone who enjoys being a hands-on accounting expert rather than just another cog in the machine. Jump in on the ERP transformation and take ownership of the month end close process.

What makes you a good fit for the Senior Corporate Accountant role?

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
