KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing global manufacturing company in Ashland, MA. This role reports to the Controller and focuses on general ledger, month-end close, and consolidations in a multi-entity environment.

Hybrid work is offered (3 days onsite). The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 6+ years of experience, U.S. GAAP proficiency, and strong Excel skills, with JD Edwards experience a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Senior Accountant

Salary:$90,000 -$120,000

A stable, growing global manufacturing company is seeking aSenior Accountantto join its corporate accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, and global consolidations in a multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and financial analyses
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, CIP, and amortization schedules
• Perform loan accounting and manage amortization schedules
• Handle intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations across multiple entities
• Support global financial reporting and consolidation activities
• Review bank reconciliations and maintain cash-related accounts
• Coordinate with international finance teams to ensure consistent accounting practices
• Assist with external audits and provide audit support documentation
• Administer the employee expense reimbursement system
• Identify process improvements and support special accounting projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industry
• Experience in large, multi-entity and intercompany accounting environments required
• Strong background in fixed assets, depreciation, capital projects, and loan accounting
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
• ERP experience required (JD Edwards experience is a plus; training available)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
