Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a CORE/WAN Network Lead in Sterling, VA to design, implement, and maintain complex, global enterprise networks across multiple security domains.

The Senior Network Engineer will guide the networking team, mentor junior engineers, and drive incident response to ensure stability and performance. You will leverage extensive experience with routing protocols like BGP, cloud networking platforms, and DoD frameworks to translate business needs into robust network

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
• 10+ years of network and transport tech experience.
• Experience with DoD Architecture Framework and key DoD network planning guidelines.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper switches/routers, Cryptographic devices, VPN and VPN client.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site staff, provide guidance, support, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance, monitoring and installation of WAN environments across multiple platforms.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve network issues; escalate to management and customers as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to improve network performance.
