Job summary

UST is seeking a Core Java Developer (Specialist II - Software Engineering) to design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance pharmacy and retail applications in Bentonville, Arkansas. You will work on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs, building reusable components and integrating pharmacy systems with retail and enterprise platforms.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of experience, strong domain knowledge in pharmacy/retail, and a track record delivering scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience range: 8-10 years
• Strong Pharmacy and Retail domain knowledge
• Experience with pharmacy systems and technology ecosystems
• Understanding of pharmacy application workflows, data flows, and integrations
• Experience supporting pharmacy operations, prescription processing, claims, fulfillment, and inventory management
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures.
• Convert business and functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Review technical designs, code, and architectural decisions.
• Drive best practices in software development, microservices design, and API development; mentor development teams and provide technical leadership.
• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs.
• Build reusable and scalable components for pharmacy applications.
• Implement integration services between pharmacy, retail, and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
