Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level Java 17+ and Spring Boot development.
• Experience building REST APIs and distributed microservices.
• Strong testing background using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL databases; Liquibase is a plus.
• Familiarity with JMS messaging and enterprise patterns.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Expert-level Java 17+ and Spring Boot development
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience building REST APIs and distributed microservices
• Strong testing background using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Cucumber
• IntelliJ and Maven experience
• Git source control experience
• Knowledge of OAuth2/OpenID Connect security
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or similar tools
• Experience with SQL databases; Liquibase is a plus
• Familiarity with JMS messaging
• Experience with transaction management, thread safety, retries, circuit breakers, and idempotency
