Job summary

Harvey seeks a Software Engineer for the Core Infrastructure team in San Francisco, CA. This role entails designing and building new systems that ensure the reliability and scalability of our legal AI platform.

You will lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers while optimizing distributed systems. Applicants should have over 4 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, deep proficiency with cloud platforms, and strong programming skills in Python or Go.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or Platform Engineering in a production environment.
• Strong fluency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools—Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, networking, and cloud security at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure systems that power Harvey’s AI platform.
• Own and evolve our multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP).
• Lead technical initiatives around observability and incident response.
