Job summary

bohan Advertising in Nashville, TN seeks a senior copywriter to collaborate with art directors, designers, creative directors, account planners and managers to deliver national-quality advertising solutions. You will write compelling, strategically aligned concepts and craft across channels while maintaining client relationships and delivering on-brand storytelling.

The role requires a strong craft, deep knowledge of marketing/advertising strategy, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in an agency or client in-house creative environment.
• Have a sound understanding of marketing/advertising strategy and holistic, integrated conceptual thinking (at a minimum).
• Must have the ability to contribute meaningful points of view and ideas to the team and clients.
• Keeps abreast of advertising and cultural trends.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, professionally and personably both internally and externally.
• Demonstrates ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects/deadlines.
• Projects a professional, positive attitude toward agency peers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team with art directors, designers, creative directors, account planners and managers, and all other agency disciplines to develop national quality business solutions
• Establish and maintain positive, productive relationships
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of marketing/advertising strategy
• Conceives and executes advertising consistent with agreed strategy
• Be responsible for original conceptions, for clear, concise and convincing writing, for grammatical and material accuracy
• Have the ability to provide insightful and creative interpretation of product research for clients
• Demonstrate high level of professional craftsmanship and superior writing skills, while effectively handling multiple assignments
• Demonstrate ability to work in all disciplines of advertising/media channels
• Effectively present and clearly communicate creative concepts internally and feel comfortable participating in client meetings
• Keep supervisor(s) up-to-date on all projects
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor(s)
