Job description

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our team. You are a seasoned professional known for consistently producing high-quality, impactful content. You will be responsible for creating compelling and compliant copy for a variety of pharmaceutical marketing channels. You will report to the Associate Creative Director.

This role is open to remote candidates in the United States or Canada, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities :
  1. Develop copy that aligns with briefs, strategic / creative direction, and brand guidelines. Independently write and review copy for pharmaceutical marketing materials, including digital and print initiatives (e.g., brochures, websites, banner ads, emails, etc.).
  2. Manage and prioritize multiple projects, meeting stringent deadlines.
  3. Collaborate with art resources to ensure continuity between copy and design.
  4. Implement tone of voice, style requirements, and other brand messaging guidelines based on the needs of the client and target audience.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical/regulatory direction to ensure accurate and compliant content.
  6. Review reference sources, develop annotations, create accurate citations, and reference content in tactics when necessary.
  7. Present copy and final deliverables to the internal team.
  8. Anticipate and proactively resolve creative challenges.
  9. Contribute innovative ideas that align with the brand's marketing strategies.
Requirements :
  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting.
  3. In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry trends.
  4. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with team members across departments.

Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually.
