Overview

A Senior Copywriter at Razorfish Health would be responsible for the conception & execution of innovative materials for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including large web initiatives, online advertising, and digital marketing. This person should have a strong core in traditional advertising writing with specific pharma experience. The primary responsibility is to shape creative strategy, demonstrate strong conceptual abilities, and offer unique solutions to challenges. The Sr. Writer should stimulate ideas and foster team creativity while developing leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate fully in the development of creative briefs and strategic/tactical plans
• Monitor changes in the client’s marketplace; evaluate work in light of marketing situation
• Work directly with clients to develop solutions and present ideas
• Work independently under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects
• Articulate clear direction to studio, vendors, and junior staff; apply expert knowledge of science creatively
• Master nuances of the work and think on your feet
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, juggling writing demands
• Ensure copy tone and style align with brand and style guidelines
• Collaborate with project teams to understand business objectives and target audiences
• Make sound decisions expediently
• Uphold high standards for agency work and performance standards for direct reports

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional writing experience in advertising or interactive agency
• 1-3+ years of Pharma Advertising Agency experience
• HCP experience required
• Experience with annotating & referencing
• Previous mentorship or leadership experience preferred
• Experience with large cross-channel/direct marketing initiatives including rich media, web, direct, print, online, and social media
• A diverse portfolio is required for consideration
• Willingness to travel as needed
