Job: Senior Copywriter
Location: NYC/hybrid
The Senior Copywriter (Sr. CW) works collaboratively with brand copy teams and is responsible for researching, creating, and writing copy that properly reflects the client’s strategy. They will support the generation of unique and innovative materials for brand(s)/client(s), developing text from draft stage through final copy. Work can include revising/writing manuscripts, referencing, annotating client medical, legal, or regulatory submissions. They will collaborate with Art and Editorial teams as needed to ensure content is accurate and displayed correctly.
They will start to demonstrate management skills through mentorship and training of junior team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Copywriting and Creative Execution: Writes in a clear and concise manner while maintaining quality control, proper grammar, agency process, client referencing, and legal
requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates and communicates with team members in a productive manner to ensure goals are met and to attain/maintain creative vision
outlined for the agency.
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrates knowledge of marketing plans including objectives and strategies and how success will be measured.
Administration: Maintains timely and detail-oriented and accurate approaches to administrative duties.
