Job summary

FoundationCCC is hiring a Senior Coordinator to support its Workforce Development Department in California. The role focuses on grants administration, contract coordination, record-keeping, and data validation, ensuring precision across all grant activities and timely communication with partners.

Successful candidates will manage schedules, coordinate tasks, and resolve issues with senior leadership, delivering quality work with minimal supervision while contributing to California's workforce

  • Perform advanced review and validation of data within grants management databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support schedule coordination and communication with grantees and payment recipients, partner with senior project leads and resolve issues proactively.

Senior Coordinator, Workforce Development

Remote position based in California. Must reside in California.

We are hiring for multiple positions. We are seeking a Senior Coordinator to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. Together, we are building stronger communities by getting students and colleges the resources they need to succeed and expanding pathways to economic and social mobility across California.

What You’ll Do

The FoundationCCC’s Workforce Development Department (WDD) aims to ensure that all learners in California obtain the knowledge, skills, experiences, and networks needed to connect with meaningful work, expand career options, and increase economic and social mobility. WDD works in four primary areas:

  • Building capacity within K-12, college, apprenticeship, and workforce development systems to effectively serve learners and businesses.
  • Serving as employer-of-record for paid work experience.
  • Providing wraparound services, resource development, and support.
  • Developing work‑based learning models, tools, and technologies.

The Senior Coordinator will focus on WDD grants administration projects, which bring funding to awardees on behalf of state and local partner agencies. Responsibilities include:

  • Executing and coordinating contracts with awardees and supporting grant administration projects.
  • Maintaining accurate records for grants administration projects.
  • Supporting project management activities, including coordination of tasks in project management software, record‑keeping systems, and email triage.
  • Performing advanced review and validation of data within grants management databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with submitted documentation, and resolving discrepancies with excellent attention to detail.
  • Supporting schedule coordination and communication with grantees and payment recipients, partnering with senior project leads and proactively resolving issues.

Pay Range

Hourly: $27.85 - $28.85, with final salary based on education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
