Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Sr. Coordinator of Quality and Patient Safety to advance the patient safety program and reduce harm across care areas. This role supports the Director in implementing safety initiatives, education, and performance improvement.

The position emphasizes regulatory compliance, reporting, sentinel event analysis, and proactive risk assessments to sustain a safe care environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required; RN license.
• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of patient safety initiatives.
• Contribute to building a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.
• Support performance monitoring, education, and risk assessments.
