Job description

Overview

Senior Coordinator, Operations - Sony Pictures Classics. This role oversees the KDM/element delivery to all theaters and maintains the relationship between our Sales/Operations Departments with warehouses and technical facilities to deliver content to theaters. Provides daily administrative support for the VP, Operations, and the operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with Deluxe on all SPC DCP/ DCDC content deliveries, rectify issues with DCPS & keys, review and code deluxe/DCDC invoices. Update DCDC warehouse in DEX. Research and resolve booking errors regarding DCPs & 35mm prints. Provide shipping, DCP, and other costs for film titles to VP Operations. Assist with creating circuit and theater master accounts in DEX. Monitor evenings/weekends for urgent matters with Deluxe. Code invoices for all technical facilities.
  • Update Academy film Service on all SPC 35mm dates for shipping to theaters booked by the sales department. Ensure prints are inspected and ready for use. Review and code academy invoices. Oversee all DEX shipping details in the operating system and inform the Operations & Sales departments of any issues. Monitor Shipping orders for trade and publicity screenings and review inventory with the non-theatrical sales manager.
  • Process VP Operations expense reports, travel arrangements, and calendar. Order office supplies, oversee office luncheons/events, assist with box office reports, maintain Maccsbox files in DEX, and process theater refunds. Create daily deposits and upload images into the DEX system. Process invoices/charitable requests for the company. Assist and maintain the Co-President's schedule when their assistant is out of the office.
Qualifications

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with all levels of management
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary for this position is $27.47/hour to $30.21/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, education, certifications, and location.
