Summary of Position:
The Senior Coordinator, Institutional Advancement, supports Meridian's Engagement, Growth, and Partnerships division in a non-supervisory role. This position is a frontline fundraising role that independently owns a portfolio within the individual giving/donor engagement membership program and takes the lead on one or more special events and gala workstreams, capable of exercising independent judgment on donor strategy, materials, and event execution with minimal day-to-day oversight.
Key responsibilities include fundraising outreach, independent management of assigned donor and event portfolios, donor database management, donor research, and drafting and finalizing fundraising and event collateral. A detail-oriented, service-minded approach, sound independent judgment, and enthusiasm for relationship-centered fundraising are essential.
This position is located in Washington, D.C. Meridian requires MD, DC, or VA residence for all employees. The position may work partially remotely until further notice.
