Qualifications

• Food service experience in a healthcare setting and at least 1 year of cooking experience are required.
• Ability to work full-time with days/hours varying, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining production records and documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
