Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Senior Cook at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL. This full-time role requires healthcare food service experience and at least one year of cooking experience. Schedule varies by day and hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Store, label and date food items; maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated/frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining production records and documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
