Qualifications

• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions, perform math calculations for recipe weights and production quantities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to standardized recipes and adjust quantities for yields.
• Plan production timing and quantities per daily orders and production assignments; suggest substitutions for shortages.
• Minimize waste by planning and tracking; log shortages and excess amounts.
• Check and log food temperatures; read thermometers and follow safety requirements.
• Maintain par levels; restock items and rotate stock; ensure freshness dates.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly; report equipment needs for repair.
• May receive deliveries; oversee production quality when needed.
• Provide leadership and share cooking knowledge with kitchen staff and collaborate across departments.
