• We are hiring immediately for a full-time Senior Cook position.
• Location: Children's Mercy - 2401 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO 64108. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Eight years of previous cook experience preferred, but not required.
• Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares nutritious and flavorful food following standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after use; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
• Participate in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
