• We are hiring immediately for full-time SENIOR COOK positions.
• Location: Gladwin Community Schools - 401 North Bowery Avenue, Gladwin, MI 48624. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:45 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: Prior culinary, kitchen lead, inventory, production record, ordering, and recipe knowledge experience.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored according to standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
2. Prepare various entrees and menu items following recipes.
3. Operate and clean equipment after use; perform routine cleaning.
4. Store, label, and date food items; maintain organized storage.
5. Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety.
6. Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
7. Assist in maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
8. Assist in cross-training employees.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
