Job Summary

Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and flavorful, adhering to federal, state, local, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
2. Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
3. Operate and clean equipment after each use. Perform scheduled routine cleaning.
4. Store, label, and date food items according to policy. Maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products.
5. Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality.
6. Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
7. Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate production records and completing documentation, reports, and logs.
8. Assist in cross-training employees.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
