Job Opening: Senior Cook

We are hiring immediately for full-time SENIOR COOK positions.

Location: 201 Post Road, Anchorage, AK 99501. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time schedules with a rotational shift: 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.

Requirements: Six months to one year of previous cook experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare nutritious and flavorful food in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• May oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform scheduled cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy; maintain organized storage of dry, refrigerated, and frozen goods.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food quality and safety.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all documentation, reports, and logs as required.
• Assist in cross-training employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
