You will work with the culinary team to ensure timely service, uphold food safety, and help maintain clean and safe kitchen operations during busy shifts. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

• Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, or casino.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Reliable self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
• Assists with inventory and storage to ensure freshness and availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.
• Assists in monitoring products in the freezer, walk-ins, and storerooms, ensuring freshness rotation and availability.
• Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient preparation of all menu items during busy service hours.
• Monitors the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and performs “clean as you go”
• Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments and departmental procedures.
• Remains up to date on all departmental policies and procedures
• Ensures thorough communication between shifts
• Other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience working as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel or Casino
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations
• Reliable self-starter with an open mind and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to works a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and working in the kitchen
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
