Job summary

Compass Group, North America is hiring a Senior Cook at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. Positions are either full-time or part-time with AM and PM shifts. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with online applications accepted.

Candidates with at least 1 year of food production or pizza experience are preferred; training and benefits apply. Responsibilities include preparing entrees, following recipes, supervising cooking activities, ensuring safety and sanitation, and keeping daily

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior food production or pizza experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label and date food items according to policy and maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining daily production records and required documentation.
• Assist in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
