Job summary

Compass Group USA's Flik division is hiring a Senior Cook for a full-time shift at CHOA in Brookhaven. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Prior cooking experience is required; a strong kitchen background is essential to help ensure high-quality, consistent dishes.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable standards.
• Oversees cooking activities as assigned, prepares entrees and menu items from established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment; performs routine cleaning and maintains storage and labeling policies.
• Follows HACCP guidelines and health/sanitation regulations; maintains production records and reports.
• Assists in cross-training of employees and supports the Food Service Director as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
