Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Cook at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City to join a team delivering nutritious meals with a strong focus on customer service.

You will prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events, following recipes and plating to a high standard. A reliable, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 or more years of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow complex recipes and prepare hot/cold items.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and events.
• Follow complex recipes and produce small to large batch goods using classical and contemporary techniques.
• May supervise production staff and train team members.
• Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties as required by account needs.
