Job summary

Providence Swedish Issaquah is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare meals using basic and advanced techniques, follow standardized recipes, and plate dishes to meet production schedules.

You will maintain clean, safe work areas, ensure proper storage of food and supplies, participate in recipe and menu development, and demonstrate strong culinary skills within a patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Culinary degree or equivalent, or formalized apprenticeship.
• 1 year of professional line cook experience in a full-service establishment.
• 1 year of professional line cook experience using fresh ingredients and standardized recipes.
• 6 months of high-volume line cooking experience.
• National Food Handler Card required upon hire.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of professional line cook experience in a full service establishment may be substituted for degree or formalized apprenticeship
• 1 year of professional line cook experience in a full service establishment from fresh ingredients using standardized recipes

• National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
