Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds seeks a Supervisor to guide Environmental Services staff, ensuring work aligns with policies and procedures while supporting patient-focused care.

You will train staff, manage scheduling and supplies, and monitor safety and HIPAA compliance, with opportunities to contribute to quality, efficiency, and a respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of college coursework completed.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role with 15+ employees.
• Excellent customer service demeanor and experience.
• Experience with scheduling, supply tracking, training, and chemicals usage.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, labor tracking, workflow routing, disciplinary actions, and progress reporting; HIPAA disposal and inspections/audit tracking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel to ensure policy-compliant work completion.

• Oversee chemicals mixing and usage; maintain equipment.

Description

Supervises the work of assigned personnel to ensure work is completed in conformance with established policies and procedures. Assists in training employees to ensure their understanding of policies and procedures. Including any other tasks or responsibilities that are given by the Manager or Director of Environmental Services Department at any given time.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: 1 or more years of college
• 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role with 15+ employees
• Must have excellent customer service mannerisms and experience
• Progressively responsible for scheduling, supply tracking and ordering, class room training and on the job training, mixing & usage of chemicals
• Equipment maintenance, labor tracking, route of work flow, disciplinary actions & progress reports, HIPPA documentation disposal, Inspections & Audit tracking documentation

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in a hospital setting

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
