Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers in Woodland, CA is seeking an experienced Controls Technician for our on-site Woodland Production Facility. This full-time role involves installing, maintaining, and upgrading controls systems across a unionized plant, with potential weekend overtime and varied shifts.

Competitive benefits accompany a $40.00/hour pay rate. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industry, strong PLC/HMI knowledge, and experience with AutoCAD and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Must possess and use personal hand tools.
• Experience leading control system installations and upgrades.
• Skilled with creating and understanding diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and associated software suites (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Server configuration/administration basics for control data (SQL, Java, HTML); networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul controls systems and equipment.
• Test and calibrate PLCs, HMIs, and related components.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and operating instructions.
• Maintain maintenance records for controls systems/equipment.
• Obtain and maintain repair parts; lay out and requisition equipment.
• Perform electrical calculations and conduit installations; test systems with meters and scopes.
