Job summary

Thermo Systems in Henderson, NV or Mansfield, TX is seeking a Senior Control Systems Technician to oversee field coordination and provide technical support on control system projects, emphasizing start-up, commissioning and FAT execution.

You will lead instrument checks, PLC/HMI troubleshooting, and thorough documentation while collaborating with project leads. Up to 100% travel required; a strong customer focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant technical field.
• Typically 5 to 8+ years industry experience.
• Proven track record: 5+ years as Lead Control Systems Technician II or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
• Expert in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems.
• Lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) activities.
• Wire instruments and control panels.
• Demonstrate understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
• Document work performed and manage field feedback against drawings.
