Job summary

Jobot seeks a Senior Controls Specialist to support building automation across the Memphis region, focusing on BAS/DDC systems for commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare facilities. You will program, commission, and service HVAC, lighting, security, and energy-management systems, lead integrations, mentor technicians, and deliver graphics and dashboards for end users.

Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years BAS / DDC experience with HVAC control sequences.
• Familiarity with integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
• Proficient in system commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Leadership ability to train or mentor others.

Job Details

We’re seeking a Senior Controls Specialist to join a growing Building Automation team supporting commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare facilities across the Memphis region. This role is ideal for someone with strong BAS/DDC experience, who can program, commission, and service advanced building automation systems that integrate HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of codes and safety practices (OSHA/NFPA).
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Salary: $35 - $50 per hour
