Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist to lead development, testing, startup, and commissioning of instrumentation within BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and ICS environments. You will implement interconnected systems, ensuring performance, interoperability, and security while supporting complex projects.

Travel to client sites is required; strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical distribution, PLC configurations, and commissioning tools is essential for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of EPMS, BMS, Industrial instrumentation and/or SCADA systems
• 8+ years of experience with a High School Diploma; 6+ years with an Associate's
• Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours as required by customer

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of complex BMS, EPMS and SCADA systems with advanced integrations
• Perform basic TCP/IP configuration and configure communication devices
• Configure Modbus gateway devices and troubleshoot link failures
• Navigate EPMS/SCADA apps for monitoring, data retrieval and trending
• Assist with commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical components and systems
• Support safety and collaboration on site during customer projects
• Travel to customer sites for startup as needed
